ABDULKADIR OZTURK
In 1949, Abdulkadir Ozturk was born in Sivas. Between the years 1962-1968, he was graduated from the Pamukpinar Teacher Training School. In 1974 he was graduated from the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts School. Between 1994-2009, Abdulkadir Ozturk has worked at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, the Faculty of Fine Arts as a lecturer. Between 1991-2016, he has worked with Tem Art Gallery and in 2016, Abdulkadir Ozturk has founded Neva Art Gallery to exhibit his works in Nisantasi, Istanbul.
He still lives and works in Istanbul.
Abdulkadir Ozturk takes the inspiration directly from the people and Anatolia. He makes sculptures by using a variety of materials and they are like a description of lived era. In his works, he explains the struggle of the life, love and eroticism for the entire people.
